Despite the forecast which scared off several teams 4 varsity teams and 1 JV team had a fabulous weekend of sailing. Conditions on Saturday were 4-15 knots building through the day from the south. 10 races were completed by 3 pm with sailors rotating on the beach. Sunday's winds were 13-19 also from the south. Two more races were completed. Congratulations to Antilles school who took first by 13 points, followed by St Thomas Aquinas, last year's winner. HB Plant JV took first in the JV division.
Many thanks to host Davis Island Youth Sailing Foundation, DIYC, and the Dinghy Dames for their sponsorship of the event.
